Birthday Card

I did this card for my friends birthday. This stamp set is My mishikas. Colors are Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, and Old Olive. I discovered that if I emboss my Images that require coloring I get better color results. When I finished the card I realized that the two major colors were michigan colors. Which is her favorite team. How funny! Sentimental inside is from curly cute.

Copics Markers

I went to a Copics Marker class with Tammy today and loved it. Ended up spending way too much money on markers. I don't have too much guilt however because it was money I earned from a consignment sale. Here was my first attempt. I was looking for a good image to practice with and I love this stamp set so what do you do? Cheryl the instructor is amazing!

The pumpkin is my favorite part of this one. I am going to have to look for more fall stamps to use. I think leaves would be good. I am off to watch some Youtube Demos.

Shoebox swap.

I am going to Calvert County to hang with my Stampin' girls and we are doing a shoe box swap. What is a shoe box swap? It is where you prepare a box ok supplies to make a project and everyone works on it. This was my sample. Thanks babe for helping me come up with the idea.

Debbie's new Grandson

I am so excited I finished a dual project today. I know that I am supposed to use current Stampin Up product but as soon as Debbie told me the sex of the baby and showed me some of the things Kim was thinking of using in the babies room I knew immediately what I was going to do. This is retired paper Jersey Shore. The Sizzix dies I used where the two tags and the Top Note. Then as you all know I am a lover of My digital Studio where I created both the Dog and the saying. I had so much fun with this one. I hope that Debbie and Kim like the blanket. I crocheted the blanket using the Granny Square technique. I have decided that I am going to start using the Stampin Up color combinations in making my blankets. It will make things so much easier. I will be able to do the total package Stampin Up style. The Jar is from Walmart and is what I will start using instead of the paint cans as it uses way less paper and ribbon and is easier to open and close and well I just loved it! I will keep you updated on what they thought:)
